Hector Hernandez Hernandez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in computational analysis and engineering, particularly in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Team Leader for Interior Occupant Safety CAE & Testing at Canoo Technologies Inc. since March 2021, Hector oversees simulations and collaborates with design teams on critical safety requirements like FMVSS201 and FMVSS202a. Previously, Hector held positions at Ford Motor Company and General Motors, where significant contributions included developing methodologies for body interior safety and establishing CAE assessments for head impact tests. Hector began a career at Honda Motos México in a maintenance role before advancing to engineering positions.
