Michael Watts, P.E. is currently the Vice President of Land Development at Canopy 5 since July 2025. Prior to this role, Michael served as Vice President of Land Development at Pure Development from February 2021 to June 2025, and as Development Manager during the same tenure. Michael's earlier experience includes a position as Team Leader Civil Group at American Structurepoint, Inc. from May 2015 to February 2021, where responsibilities involved leading a team to create site/civil construction plans for diverse project types, including federal programs with various branches of the military. Additional positions held include Project Manager at Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering, Inc. and RW Armstrong, a CHA Company, where Michael progressed from Project Engineer IV to Intern. Michael obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Construction Emphasis from Clemson University and completed the ACEC Leadership Program in 2013.
