Patrick Gorman

Patrick Gorman is a Software Engineer at CapCenter, where since February 2022, Patrick has developed a machine learning model to predict customer application closure rates, involving various data analysis and modeling techniques. Previously, Patrick worked as a Teaching Assistant at William & Mary, grading assignments and leading tutoring sessions, and served as a Process Simulation Consultant at Kala.ai, creating a simulation web app for a unique manufacturing methodology. Early roles include a Field Technician at Sigora Solar, where Patrick conducted government inspections, and a Community Volunteer at FreeGeek Chicago, assisting in tech recycling. An internship as a Backend Web Developer at the Center for Open Science involved developing APIs and maintaining backend functionality. Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from William & Mary, with a specialization in Operations Research, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
