Melissa Sosa

Melissa Sosa is an experienced finance operations professional currently serving as a Finance Operations Senior Analyst at Capco since January 2023, after previously holding the role of Finance Operations Analyst. Melissa has a background as a Research Associate at NERA Economic Consulting from July 2020 to July 2021, where responsibilities included performing research for legal reports on antitrust and intellectual property claims, conducting extensive data analysis, and translating findings into accessible reports. Earlier experience includes various roles at Stony Brook University, including Resident Assistant, where oversight of student residents and program execution were key responsibilities. In addition, Melissa gained analytical experience during a summer internship at NERA Economic Consulting in 2019 and began a career in customer service as a Sales Associate at The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Stony Brook University, completed in 2020.
