J. Mark Olsen has a diverse and extensive work experience. J. Mark is currently working as the Vice President of Residential Lending at Cape Ann Savings Bank since 2020. Prior to that, they had a role as a Project Development Manager in a self-employed capacity from 2019 to 2020. From 2012 to 2018, J. Mark Olsen worked at Sage Bank, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Secondary Markets. In this role, they were responsible for directing secondary marketing, developing corporate strategy, ensuring compliance, and overseeing financial reporting. Before joining Sage Bank, J. Mark Olsen had a long tenure at 1-800 East West Mortgage Subsidiary of Commerce Bank & Trust, where they served as the Executive Vice President from 1997 to 2012. In this role, they supervised lending operations, managed loan originators, and handled secondary marketing activities. In addition, they also served as the President of 1-800 East West Mortgage from 2004 to 2005.

J. Mark Olsen pursued their education beginning in 1985, when they attended the American Institute of Banking for an undisclosed period. This was followed by their enrollment at Gordon College in 1987, where they dedicated four years to studying Business Administration, leading to the completion of their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1991.
