Makenna Zimmerman

Makenna Zimmerman is a skilled recruiting professional with a diverse background in recruitment and operations, currently serving as a Recruiting Operations Partner at Capella Space since August 2021. Makenna has experience leading end-to-end recruitment processes and optimizing applicant tracking system workflows. Previous roles include Recruiter and Recruiting Coordinator at Capella Space, as well as a Client Care Coordinator at eXp Realty, where Makenna significantly contributed to the team’s success through social media marketing. Makenna has also held positions with the Universal Dance Association as both Social Media Staff and Instructional Staff Member, Vice President of Community Relations for the Gamma Kappa chapter of Alpha Phi International Fraternity, and Cheerleader for the Las Vegas Raiders. Makenna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Dance from California State University, Long Beach, and has furthered education at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole.
