Kevin Rotich is a seasoned journalist with a strong background in business reporting. Currently serving as the Business Editor at Capital FM Kenya since October 2022, Kevin previously worked as a Correspondent at the Business Daily, a subsidiary of Nation Media Group, from January 2019 to October 2022. During this time, Kevin focused on writing both business and feature stories. Kevin began a career in journalism through an internship at the Nation Media's Nakuru bureau, where a diverse range of topics including politics, business, sports, and human interest stories were covered. Additionally, Kevin gained valuable experience during an internship at the Kenya News Agency, which enhanced skills in news gathering, writing, editing, and interviewing. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Mount Kenya University, obtained between 2015 and 2018.
