Yared Araya

Yared Araya is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and governance. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Information Security at Capital One since March 2021, Yared previously held roles as an Information Systems Security Officer at General Dynamics Information Technology and as a Global Account Security Officer at DXC Technology, where expertise was applied across the Oil & Gas, Financial, and Manufacturing sectors. Prior to these positions, Yared managed IT security for major accounts at HP Enterprise Services and served as IT Security Manager for Shell. Yared holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Addis Ababa University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.
