Prashant Bapuji's work experience includes various roles in Business Intelligence & Analytics and Systems Specialist / Technical Lead at Capital Power from 2009 to present. In these roles, they designed and implemented data engineering processes, developed data warehouses, and created data/delta lakes using various tools such as SSIS, ADF, Databricks Notebooks, and C#. Prashant also led the integration team to implement a hosted work order management system and developed interfaces to/from hosted/on-prem applications using Oracle packages/stored procedures.
Prior to their time at Capital Power, Prashant worked as a Software Developer Team Lead at EPCOR from 2005 to 2009, where they designed and implemented technical solutions for data splitting and received recognition for streamlining business functions. Prashant also designed and implemented a reporting solution for the billing system.
Before EPCOR, Prashant served as a CIM Engineer (Software Development) at LSI Corporation from 2000 to 2005.
Prashant Bapuji obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Osmania University, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Technology (M.sc Tech) in Mathematics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Prashant has obtained several certifications, including "Azure Machine Learning Development: 2 Learning ML Studio," "Cognitive Technologies: The Real Opportunities for Business," and "Understanding Capital Markets," all of which were obtained from LinkedIn in May 2020.
