Sonia Faizal is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and finance management. Currently serving as Finance Manager and Corporate Accountant at Capricorn Society since November 2014, Sonia has played a pivotal role in the implementation of automated financial systems and contributed to the development of accounting papers for the new AASB 17 standard. Prior positions include Management Accountant at BankWest, where responsibilities included managing consolidated balance sheets and statutory reporting, as well as roles at Laing O'Rourke, Grant Thornton Australia, and Optimus Partners. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University and is a CPA Australia member.
