Chandler Abernathy Michael

Chandler Abernathy Michael has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Chandler joined CAPTRUST in 2021 and worked as a Corporate Counsel until January 2023, after which they were promoted to the position of Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to CAPTRUST, Chandler worked at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP as an Associate from March 2016 to August 2021. Before that, Chandler was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young from September 2012 to February 2016, specializing in State and Local Transactions Tax. At the beginning of their career, Chandler worked as a Risk Management Analyst at Ansberry Risk Management from June 2008 to July 2009 and as an Associate Systems Analyst at BAE Systems from May 2005 to May 2008.

Chandler Abernathy Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following this, Chandler pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Fordham University School of Law, which was completed from 2009 to 2012.
