Chanel Gray

Chanel Gray is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial control and management. Currently serving as Group Financial Controller at Carbon Clean since March 2025, Chanel previously held the same title at Lightsource bp from August 2023 to January 2025, overseeing a team of seven and managing financial reporting and the month-end close process. Prior roles include Head of Financial Control at The Telegraph (March 2020 - August 2023) and Head of Regional Controllership at Finastra (July 2018 - January 2020), where Chanel managed a global team of approximately 20 finance professionals. Additionally, at SAP from October 2016 to July 2018, Chanel served as Chief Accountant for UK and Ireland, ensuring financial accuracy across significant subsidiaries. Chanel holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a BSc in Economics with Central and East European Studies from the University of Birmingham.
