James Frost is a Research and Development Engineer at Carbon Clean since April 2022, focusing on innovative modular carbon capture solutions that reduce costs by up to 50%. Previously, James served as a Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, contributing to the development of a methane emissions detection system. Experience includes a part-time role at Cambridge Ecology Ltd conducting environmental surveys, an internship at Coryton Advanced Fuels Ltd analyzing fuel samples and health and safety protocols, and a summer internship at Johnson Matthey modeling vehicle emissions using MATLAB. Academically, James holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UCL and additional degrees in Green Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and the University of Bath, respectively.
