Sarah Braverman holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia SIPA and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Mount Holyoke College. Currently, Sarah serves as a Policy Analyst at Carbon Direct, having previously been a Policy Associate and Client Project Manager. Prior experience includes a role as Graduate Consultant and Deputy Project Manager at the Natural Resources Defense Council, managing a team to develop a national HFC emissions management program, and a Graduate Research Officer at the Center on Global Energy Policy, focusing on zero-carbon fuel alternatives. Additional roles include University Relations Manager at Friends of the Arava Institute and positions in research and canvassing with organizations such as Environment New York and Environment America. Sarah's diverse background in environmental policy, research, and project management underscores a strong commitment to sustainability and climate action.
