Omer Riza

Omer Riza is an experienced football coach and former professional player with a diverse background in various coaching roles, particularly at Watford Football Club since August 2018, where currently serves as the Assistant First Team Coach. Riza's coaching career includes positions such as U23s Lead Coach and U16s Coach at Watford, as well as roles with The Football Association, including U17s Assistant Coach and In Possession Coach for England U15s. Previously, Riza was the Manager of Leyton Orient Football Club, overseeing team management and tactical training, and held various developmental coaching positions within the club. Riza’s playing career spans several teams including Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super League, where notable achievements include scoring goals and international squad involvement. Riza holds a UEFA A licence from the Football Association and has a background in education from Arsenal FC College and Aylward Secondary School.
