Pedro Faria Gomes

Pedro Faria Gomes is a Senior Lecturer in Composition at Cardiff University since 2015. Previously, Pedro served as a Professor of Composition and Music Theory at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from August 2011 to July 2012. Pedro has also held teaching positions at Instituto Piaget, Academia de Música de Santa Cecília, and Conservatório Metropolitano de Música de Lisboa between 1999 and 2007. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Music (DMus) from Royal College of Music (2009-2014), a Master of Music (MMus) in Composition from the same institution (2007-2009), and a Licenciatura in Composition from Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa (1997-2001).
