Chris Usher

Chris Usher, ACMA CGMA, serves as the Director of Finance, Commercial, Workplace & Performance at the Care Quality Commission since December 2010, where responsibilities include providing financial advice to the board and chairing the investment committee. Previously, Chris held roles such as Head of Financial Management and Finance Performance Manager at the same organization, focusing on financial reporting and team leadership. Prior experience includes positions at the Commission for Social Care Inspection, including Management Accountant and Project Analyst, as well as early roles at the National Care Standards Commission and National Grid. Chris holds an Associate degree from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northumbria University, and an HND in Business from Newcastle College.
