Morag McInnes has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Morag started their career at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Social Worker, managing a caseload of mental health patients. Morag then joined Care for the Carers as a Line Manager, leading a team that provided advice and support for unpaid carers. Later, they joined the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and held several positions, including Senior Analyst, Analyst Team Leader, National Analysis Manager, Area Level Analytics Team Manager, Head of Qualitative Intelligence, and currently, Principal Analyst - Strategic Insight. In their current role at CQC, Morag is responsible for creating proactive and responsive analyses to inform CQC's regulatory priorities and is working on developing metrics and indicators for assessments of Integrated Care Systems. Throughout their career, Morag has shown strong leadership skills, focused on improving quality, impact, and collaboration in their teams.

Morag McInnes earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Social Work from Liverpool John Moores University, which took place from 2009 to 2012. From 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Social Work Research at the University of Bristol.
