Anthony Burchard

Anthony Burchard serves as the Foundation President at Roper St. Francis Healthcare since May 2025, focusing on fundraising to support the organization's healthcare mission. Previously, Anthony held the position of Senior Vice President at Virginia Hospital Center from December 2019 to December 2024, where modernization and philanthropy program expansion were key initiatives. As a Senior Advisor for Philanthropy at Operation Smile from January 2019 to June 2020, Anthony developed a nationwide fundraising network, achieving over $5 million in the first year. During tenure as President of the Inova Health Foundation from May 2011 to April 2018, philanthropic contributions increased five-fold while leading a team of 38 FTEs. Anthony also served as Vice President, successfully securing a $300 million real estate donation that significantly impacted healthcare in Northern Virginia. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University.
