Shahbaz Saeed

Shahbaz Saeed is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security operations management. Currently serving as the Senior Cybersecurity Operations Engineering Manager at Careem since January 2022, Shahbaz oversees a diverse team of SOC specialists, develops performance metrics, and leads detection engineering initiatives across various technologies. Previously, Shahbaz held senior roles at Zong CMPak Ltd and Telenor, where responsibilities included implementing security infrastructures and coordinating incident response operations. Additional experience includes positions at ABM Info Tech, Khushhali Bank, and lecturing IT subjects at colleges in London. Shahbaz holds an MSc in Advanced Networks and a BSc in Network Technologies from Edinburgh Napier University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of the Punjab.
