Tarun Matai

Tarun Matai is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Engineering Manager at Careem since May 2022, where responsibilities include managing security initiatives for Cloud, Data, and Identity in a multi-cloud environment. Previously, Tarun held various leadership positions at Microsoft, contributing to GDPR compliance and data protection programs, and was the Executive Director of Asia Technology Risk and Controls at JPMorgan Chase & Co., overseeing comprehensive information security programs. With a career spanning over two decades, positions have included roles in risk management and security across multiple organizations such as Bank of America, Citi, and i-flex solutions. Tarun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and has completed additional diplomas in Software Application Engineering and Finance.
