Rajendra Modak

Rajendra (Raj) Modak is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning over three decades in software engineering, program management, and enterprise software architecture. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since July 2011, Raj has held various roles including Software Development Manager and Technical Program Manager. Prior to CareFirst, Raj held a Vice President position at Nirvik Software and Services and managed software development at CoStar Group. Raj's early experience includes leadership roles at uXComm and BindView Corporation, where Raj focused on innovation and technology roadmaps. Raj holds multiple certifications, including Certified SCRUM Master and PMP, and has earned advanced degrees in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
