Roy Pereira

Roy Pereira currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Unified API Inc., participating in the 2023 Techstars cohort and the Creative Destructive Lab 2023/2024 cohort. Since March 2015, Roy has been an investor at CareGuide and has contributed as a mentor at Techstars from February 2018 to February 2024, guiding Unified through the Techstars Toronto summer 2023 class. Previously, Roy held roles such as General Manager of the SMB Division at Vendasta and General Manager of CalendarHero, which Roy founded in 2016. Other notable positions include Board Member and Advisor at Blockthrough, Vice President of Product Strategy at Rubicon Project, Founder and CEO of Shiny Ads, and Director and Co-Founder of Refresh Partners Inc. Roy's educational background includes a Computer Science degree from Carleton University, obtained from 1988 to 1990.
