Shalaka V.

Shalaka V. is an experienced UX Designer currently employed at Carelon since July 2021, progressing through various design-related roles. Prior to this position, Shalaka worked as a Freelance Designer from August 2020 to June 2021, focusing on spatial and product design while obtaining approvals for concepts and developing on-brand deliverables. Early career experiences include an internship in industrial design at SLEEK INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD., where responsibilities involved designing modular furniture, conducting extensive research, and creating detailed visuals. A product design internship at Gauri Khan Designs also contributed to the development of luxurious products. Shalaka began the career as a design architect at SEED Design & Consultancy, alongside earlier roles as a junior architect and intern, collaborating on architectural projects and honing design strategies through comprehensive research and management. Shalaka holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from MIT Institute of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Rizvi Education Society's College of Architecture.
