Leah Goeres is an experienced pharmacist currently serving as an Advanced Illness and Palliative Care Pharmacist at CareOregon since September 2015, focusing on Oregon's safety net population through program development and patient care. Prior to this role, Leah held a postdoctoral fellowship in Geriatrics and Epidemiology at Oregon State University, conducting research, securing funding, and mentoring students. Leah's internship experiences include time with the Department of Veterans Affairs and as a Pharmacy Intern at Safeway, where Leah managed various patient education and medication administration tasks. Leah also worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Payless Drug LTC Pharmacy, coordinating medication deliveries to long-term care homes, and as a Research Assistant for the LIFE Study, analyzing medication data. Leah holds a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Oregon Health and Science University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from Oregon State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oregon Institute of Technology.
