Michael Carey has extensive experience in the moving and transportation industry, serving as President and Senior Vice President at Carey Moving and Storage, Inc. since June 1971. Michael holds director positions with the South Carolina Trucking Association and serves as a Pilot and founding member of the Spartanburg Pilots Association. Additional leadership roles include President of the South Carolina Tariff Bureau, Inc., and various positions within the South Carolina Movers Conference, where Michael is currently Treasurer. As a 1st Lieutenant and Safety Officer with the Civil Air Patrol, Michael emphasizes safety within the Spartanburg Composite Squadron. Michael is also an agent for Allied Van Lines, overseeing five locations in the southeastern United States. Educational background includes attendance at Wofford College and Spartanburg High School, where Michael focused on accounting and math.
