Charlie Smoot

Charlie Smoot, MBA currently works at Cargill as the Enterprise Risk Lead overseeing Market Risk for multiple divisions. Prior to Cargill, Charlie worked at Piper Jaffray as Vice President of Market & Credit Risk, where Charlie managed risk analysis and developed models to monitor and manage risk. Charlie has a background in financial analysis and risk management, with experience at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Services Intern. Charlie also has experience in portfolio management and equity research from their time at the University of St. Thomas. Throughout their career, Charlie has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to analyze risk, develop strategies, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
