Silvio Basante

Silvio Basante possesses extensive experience in information systems and digital technology across various sectors, notably in global sustainability and supply chain management. At Cargill, Silvio Basante serves as the Digital Technology and Data Lead for Global Sustainability, Global Communications, and R&D, and previously held the position of Global IT Supply Chain Relationship Director. In the role of IT Director for the LATAM Region, significant contributions were made to regional operations. Prior to Cargill, Silvio Basante was IS Director at Mondelēz International in Mexico and held multiple leadership positions at Cadbury plc., including IS Manager for Brazil and Applications Manager for South America. Experience also includes leading SAP implementations and managing applications across Brazil and the Andean countries. Earlier roles at Pfizer and Warner Lambert involved coordinating IS efforts in sales and marketing across the Andean region and automating sales processes.
