Eton Chin has extensive work experience in financial management and reporting. They have worked for various educational institutions, including the Caribbean Maritime University and The University of the West Indies, Mona. Eton's roles have included Vice President Finance/University Treasurer, Financial Manager, Assistant Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst. They have demonstrated expertise in improving financial close processes, implementing digital transformation projects, guiding staff, and negotiating cost savings. Eton has also been involved in developing automated systems and enhancing customer service.
Eton Chin has a comprehensive education history. Eton completed their M.Sc. in Corporate Finance at the Mona School of Business and Management in 2018. Following that, in 2021, they pursued a Certificate in Business Analysis Fundamentals from the same institution. In 2019, Eton obtained a Certificate in Forensic Auditing from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. Earlier, in 2006, they earned an Executive MBA with a major in Information Systems from the Mona School of Business and Management. Eton began their academic journey with a B.Sc. in Natural Sciences from The University of the West Indies, Mona, in 1986. Moreover, Eton also pursued a Post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the same university in 1995.
