Tara Vandoren

Tara VanDoren, MPH, is a seasoned professional in public health and management with extensive experience in various roles. Since July 2017, Tara has served as the Capital Asset Planning Manager and Infection Preventionist at Carilion Clinic, where responsibilities include coordinating infection control programs and enhancing philanthropic efforts for the Children's Miracle Network. Prior to this, Tara held the position of Grant Manager, overseeing grant administration and compliance. Tara's experience also includes serving as a Health Equity Specialist at the Virginia Department of Health and holding roles at Drexel University and City Year, where leadership and community engagement were key responsibilities. Tara earned a Master of Public Health from Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health and a degree in Human Nutrition from Virginia Tech.
