John Fleming has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. John started their career as a Physician at Palmetto Family Practice, LLC in 1999 and worked there for 20 years. In 2012, they became the Medical Director at Agape Hospice and held that position until November 2021. In 2018, they co-founded Palmetto Aesthetics and Wellness LLC, where they served as a Co-Owner. In 2019, they joined Magnolia Family Practice LLC as a Physician. Currently, they are working as a Hospice Associate Medical Director at Caris Healthcare LP.
John Fleming's education history starts with their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Transylvania University. John attended Transylvania University from 1986 to 1990. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, John went on to pursue their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine from 1992 to 1996.
Following their medical degree, John joined the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program Family Practice Residency from 1996 to 1999 to complete their Family Medicine Residency Program. During this time, they became board certified in Family Medicine by The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc. in July 1999.
Throughout their career, John has obtained several additional certifications. In July 2014, they became a board-certified Hospice Medical Director by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board®. Additionally, John obtained a certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in December 2014 from The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc.
