Rick Blevins

Rick Blevins has extensive experience in leadership roles within the fields of bioinformatics and decision support, currently serving as the Director of Evidence and Decision Support at Caris Life Sciences since July 2010. Previously, Rick held the position of Director of Cyberinfrastructure at the University of Arizona, contributing to the iPlant Collaborative to advance plant sciences through computational research. Prior to that, Rick was the Director and Head of Informatics Analysis and Bioinformatics Discovery & Analysis at GlaxoSmithKline, where support encompassed various therapeutic areas in drug discovery. Rick's career began at Merck, where Rick directed Bioinformatics Worldwide for nearly a decade. Rick earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Michigan State University and a BS in Microbiology from the University of Michigan.
