Harish Singh Kuwar is an experienced professional in the development sector, currently serving as the Provincial Coordinator at Caritas Nepal since June 2020. In this senior management role, Harish oversees coordination of activities, supervision of partners, and management of administrative tasks. Prior to this position, Harish held multiple leadership roles within Caritas Nepal, managing significant projects such as the Ginger Warehouse Receipt Funding Project, the Urban DRR Project, and the Covid-19 Emergency Response Project. Harish also contributed to major initiatives during the Nepal Earthquake Recovery Project as a Program Officer, impacting over 15,000 households. Early career experiences included positions as a Program Assistant and Field Coordinator, where Harish developed a strong foundation in disaster management and community empowerment. Harish obtained a Master of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the Public Administration Campus of Tribhuvan University in 2017.

Caritas Nepal is a non-profit organization solely devoted to the service of the poor, most disadvantaged, and marginalized people irrespective of caste, creed, ethnicity, and nationality. The organization was founded in 1990 by the Catholic Church to respond to the devastating floods and other natural disasters that occurred.
