GIS Analyst - Field at Central Arkansas Water

Daniel Bishop has over a decade of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data management within the utility sector. Currently serving as a GIS Analyst in the field at Central Arkansas Water since August 2013, Daniel previously held roles as a Field Data Collector and a GIS Technician at Arkansas Utility Protection Services, where facility data from over 60 utility partners was managed for network mapping applications. Earlier experience includes updating land base data with Arkansas One Call and contributing as a GIS Intern at the City of Conway to develop a spatial dataset for assessing bike lane suitability. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Central Arkansas.

Our utility currently is a core partner in a regional initiative to secure a future source for the entirety of Central Arkansas, an urban area with a population of more than 750,000 people.
