Dr. Julia Heindel

Dr. Julia Heindel has a diverse work experience. Dr. Julia started their career in 2008 with a dual studies program at ALDI SÜD, gaining experience in regional management. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant Chef de Mission for the National Olympic Committee of Austria. Dr. Julia joined the ZEISS Group in 2012 as a Project Lead and Team Lead, leading various projects until 2017 when they became the Head of Global Production Support. Dr. Julia'smost recent role at ZEISS is Head of ZEISS Production Expansion India, starting in May 2022. Additionally, Dr. Heindel has recently taken on a position as an Assistant Professor at Hochschule München, starting in November 2022.

Dr. Julia Heindel holds a Doctorate degree in Business Model Innovation Driven by Digitalisation in Manufacturing from Heriot-Watt University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Dr. Julia also holds a Master of Arts degree in Business Management, European Business Consulting from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (2008-2011). In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management, International Finance from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2010. Dr. Heindel has also obtained several certifications in areas such as Leading High Performance Teams, Advanced Leadership, Strategic Management, and Leadership for Executives from St. Gallen Business School.
