Kai Wicker

Kai Wicker is a highly experienced professional in corporate research and technology, currently serving as the Head of the ZEISS Innovation Hub Dresden and Head of Imaging and Smart Sensor Systems at ZEISS Group since September 2013. With a progression from Scientist to Senior Manager Innovations, and ultimately to leadership roles, Wicker has consistently contributed to advancements in imaging and smart sensor technologies. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Group Leader of the Biomedical Imaging Group at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Wicker holds a PhD in Physics from King's College London and a Diplom-Physiker from Heidelberg University.
