Dave Thomas

Dave Thomas is the Founder and CEO of Bedarra Corporation, a position held since June 1998, and also serves as the Chairman and Founder of Bedarra Research Labs. In addition to entrepreneurial endeavors, Dave Thomas has maintained a role as an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University since July 2000. As the Founder and Chairman of YOW! Australia, established in 2007, Dave addressed the need for access to prominent speakers for local developers. Dave's extensive conference involvement includes contributions to YOW!, GOTO, ECOOP, and OOPSLA, among others. Previous roles include Chief Scientist/CSO at Kx Systems and various leadership positions at Online-Learning.com and Object Mentor. Dave holds both a MEng in Systems and Computer Engineering and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University.
