Nicolas Arellano

Nicolas Arellano is an experienced academic and architectural professional currently serving as a Contract Instructor and Teacher Assistant at Carleton University since January 2019. In addition to these roles, Nicolas leads research efforts as the Research Team Lead at CIMS and holds the position of Director of Research at dbNCR. Previous teaching experience includes an instructorship at Algonquin College in BIM Fundamentals and an adjunct instructor role at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Nicolas has a solid background in architecture, with former positions as an Architectural Designer at NORR Limited and Project Architect at UC Timber Innovation Centre. Nicolas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture from Carleton University, a Bachelor of Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and studied at Universidad del Desarrollo.
