Steven Reid

Steven Reid is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media relations and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Media Relations Officer at Carleton University since April 2012, Steven is responsible for media outreach, writing news releases, and managing external communications. Prior to this role, Steven worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at RealDecoy, where responsibilities included developing communications strategies and generating content for various platforms. Other notable positions include Public Relations Specialist at Halogen Software, Policy Analyst at the Ontario Provincial Police, and Internal Communications Officer at the National Research Council. Steven holds a Public Relations diploma from Algonquin College, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a degree in Literature from the University of Ottawa.
