Emily Harrison is a 5th Grade Teacher at Carlthorp School. Emily has a background in education and leadership, having worked as a Founding 3rd Grade Teacher at KIPP SoCal Public Schools. Emily also has experience in student management and mentorship, having held positions such as Front Desk Manager at Cal Poly University Housing and MOST Mentor. Emily holds a Teaching Credential and Masters of Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University and a degree in Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Carlthorp School is an independent co-educational day school located in Santa Monica, CA. Established in 1939, Carlthorp School enrolls approximately 280 students from kindergarten through sixth grade.
