Justin Lee is an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Carlton Forge Works since June 2022, with prior experience as an EHS Intern at Calpine in 2021 and a Facilities Intern at Tesla in early 2020. At Calpine, Justin developed compliance matrices, assisted in creating a dynamic database for source test results, analyzed fees from the Department of Toxic Substance Control, and audited gas plants for safety compliance. During the internship at Tesla, Justin led a project for installing UV systems, optimized work order requests with QR codes, managed daily operations of the GCS, and contributed to commissioning a new water filtration system through meticulous review and updates of documentation. Justin holds a dual BS/MS degree in Environmental Sustainability Health and Safety from the Rochester Institute of Technology, completed in 2022.
