David Baisley

David Baisley is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in higher education IT management. Since August 2004, David has held multiple key positions at Carnegie Mellon University, including Associate Vice President and Deputy CIO. David has played a pivotal role in various capacities, including Interim Chief Information Officer and Sr. Director of Infrastructure Services. Prior to Carnegie Mellon, David served as the Academic Technology Group Technical Lead at Columbia University Academic Information Systems from June 2002 to August 2004, and held a User Services Consultant position at Columbia University from 1995 to 2002. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
