David Huffner

David Huffner is the President of Avid Learner, Inc., where David has been involved in executive assessment and coaching, leadership development, strategic facilitation, team development, and culture change since September 1999. With extensive experience as a Talent Development Consultant and Executive Coach, David has a strong focus on developing talent within scientific, engineering, technologist, and professional communities. Additionally, David serves as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching Organizational Behavior and Theory, and also instructs at the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz School of Business. David's earlier career included roles as a Senior Consultant at Development Dimensions International and a Training Manager at Kroy, Inc., contributing to a robust foundation in organizational effectiveness and talent development. David holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
