David Nakles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental engineering and academia. As the Co-Founder and Principal of The CETER Group, Inc. since July 2012, David has played a pivotal role in establishing the company. Concurrently, David serves as a Principal Environmental Engineer at the Energy and Environmental Research Center since January 2017. Additionally, David has a longstanding relationship with Carnegie Mellon University, initially as a Professor of Practice in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department since June 2009, now in an Adjunct capacity. Prior experience includes leadership roles as Senior Vice President at AECOM Environment and The RETEC Group. David holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
