Katie Flanigan

Katie Flanigan, MEd, GCDF, is an experienced career consultant and educator currently serving as the Assistant Director and Career Consultant at Carnegie Mellon University's Dietrich College and School of Drama. Flanigan has a robust background in career development, having previously held roles as Assistant Director of Career Services at Franciscan University of Steubenville and Transitions Instructor at Baldwin Wallace University. Flanigan's expertise includes advising students on career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, and job search strategies, as well as conducting workshops and seminars to enhance students' career readiness. With a strong focus on collaboration and strategic planning, Flanigan has successfully developed programs and resources to support students’ career paths across various educational institutions. Flanigan holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a minor in Theatre from Waynesburg University.
