Kelley Shell

Kelley Shell serves as the Associate Director of Operations at Carnegie Mellon University’s University Health Services since January 2009, focusing on administrative leadership, program management, quality improvement, and student health insurance oversight. Kelley has also played pivotal roles as the Contact Tracing Program Manager, developing systems in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as the Health Promotion Program Director, leading initiatives that address community health through collaboration and strategic planning. Previous experience includes positions at UPMC Health Plan and Magee-Womens Hospital as a Health Education Specialist. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health and a Master of International Development from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Anthropology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
