Michael Ringenberg

Michael Ringenberg is a Senior Research Programmer/Analyst at Carnegie Mellon University since December 2009, specializing in the development of interactive educational tools, including CTAT tutors for a Causal Reasoning course. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Programmer focused on intelligent tutoring systems for middle school math and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where research on learning with human participants was conducted. Additional experience encompasses programming and system development at various organizations, including DEMACO, Inc., the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Motorola, and the Central Intelligence Agency. Michael holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
