Paneer Shekar has over 12 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Paneer began their career in 2007 as a Systems Engineer at Infosys and later progressed to the role of Senior Systems Engineer. In 2010, they became a Technology Analyst before leaving the company in 2012. Paneer then joined Pearl Technology Holdings as the Vice President of Software Engineering, where they worked for seven years. In 2019, they moved on to CarOffer as the Vice President of Software Engineering. Additionally, they worked briefly as a Technical Lead at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011.
Paneer Shekar attended Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2002 to 2006, where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in the field of Engineering.
