Vijay Tholpadi

Vijay Tholpadi has diverse work experience in the technology industry. Vijay is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Carousell since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Software Engineer at RedMart from June 2019 to January 2021. At RedMart, they also had roles as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to May 2019 and as an iOS Engineer from May 2017 to September 2018.

Before joining RedMart, Vijay worked at Mobmerry from March 2015 to March 2017, where they led the engineering efforts and focused on the iOS codebase. Vijay also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at InteractionOne from September 2014 to March 2016.

Vijay started their career at Althea Systems as an iOS Developer and Apps and Platform Validation Engineer from August 2011 to March 2014, where they automated app testing using various frameworks. Vijay also had a short stint at Tribune Digital Ventures as a Software Engineer from April 2014 to August 2014, mainly focused on prototyping on Chromecast on iOS and building an image search tool.

Additionally, Vijay worked as an intern at the ISRO Satellite Centre from February 2011 to July 2011.

Vijay Tholpadi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Pre-Grad in Electronics at Vijaya Pre-university College from 2005 to 2007. Their secondary education was at St Pauls English School, where they achieved an 86.4% score in SSLC (10th std) from 2000 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications in subjects like Data Structures and Algorithms in Swift, Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures in Swift 5, Productivity Tips, Swift 3 Essential Training: The Basics, AMCAT Certified Proficiency in English, AMCAT Certified in English Comprehension, and Real-Time Web with Node.js.
