Tyler Chun

Tyler Chun has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and data science. Tyler is currently working at CarParts.com as a Data Scientist, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held a position as a Data Analyst in Data Science at CarParts.com from July 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining CarParts.com, Tyler worked at NHN Global, where they held multiple roles including Data Analyst 3 from January 2021 to April 2021 and Data Analyst 2 from January 2019 to December 2020. In these roles, they were involved in various tasks such as business analysis, data reporting, performance evaluation, user behavior analysis, and machine learning and statistical modeling using Python.

Tyler also gained experience as a Data Analyst at Style Melody, Inc from October 2017 to September 2018, Day To Day Imports Inc from December 2016 to May 2017, and OBLIQ, LLC as a Data Analyst Intern from July 2016 to October 2016.

Tyler Chun completed their Master's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from the same institution's Letter & Science Department, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Before transferring to UCLA, Tyler attended City College of San Francisco in 2014, where they pursued a degree in Statistics. In addition to their academic education, Tyler also acquired additional certifications, including "Deep Learning with PyTorch: Siamese Network" and "Introduction to Data Engineering" from Coursera in August 2022.
